In special circumstances a Course Coordinator may approve a student's substituting an equivalent unit for a required unit in a program. Academic Regulation 5.6 Substitution outlines this in detail.
Course Coordinators use this form to approve the substitution of a unit undertaken outside the course rules, for a required unit within the program.
If the unit was undertaken outside of the student's current course, the SUB form should not be used and an Application for Credit/Recognition of Prior Learning (CR) form should be submitted instead.
If a unit substitution is required for an entire cohort, due to an approved change of course rules, please contact your Faculty Executive Officer.
Note: If there are more than two units to be substituted, please submit another form.
