Canberra Campus celebrated its Golden Jubilee from the 22nd to the 24th of March, marking 50 years since the opening of Signadou Teachers' College.
The time leading up to the Jubilee was extremely busy for Campus Operations, who were hard at work ensuring that the buildings and grounds were in peak condition to host celebrations.
The Signadou Chapel sustained some water damage over the Christmas holidays, so painting and re-carpeting the Chapel before the event became a priority.
The campus grounds and gardens were another point of focus, with extra gardeners hired to make sure they were in the best possible condition.
Campus Operations Manager Susan Love thought the Jubilee celebrations went extremely well. She found that the campus gardens were well received and said "The Sisters were very happy to see that the grounds had been maintained pretty much as they remembered".
