Project Overview A Health Clinic was built on the Brisbane Campus to assist with the clinical training requirement of Health Science students. The Clinic provides multipurpose training facilities, including treatment and consultation rooms. The University received a grant from Health Workforce Australia (HWA) to assist with this project and it is integral to the University’s community outreach program.
Project Update The project is complete and the building is now occupied by ACU. The standard 12 month Defects Liability Period finished on the 12th of September 2013.
Project Overview The Daniel Mannix Building is designed to be one of Australia’s premier buildings for teaching, research and learning. It contains a 300-seat lecture theatre, specialist-learning facilities for health sciences and psychology, a fitness centre, chapel and rooftop garden. The building is designed for low environmental impacts combined with high levels of comfort and wellbeing and is recognised as a landmark building from a sustainability perspective.
Project Update The building was completed in late 2012 and was fully operational for Semester 1, 2013.
Project Overview A number of consequential works were undertaken at 115 Victoria Parade in the locations that were vacated by moves into the Daniel Mannix Building. The majority of these works were to re-purpose and update the spaces. This project included the development of teaching and office facilities to support Speech Pathology, construction of a Moot Court and dedicated research facilities (SPRT), as well as an upgrade of the air conditioning system.

Project Overview To meet the demands of growing student numbers on the Melbourne Campus, the existing Melbourne Library was refurbished and extended over three floors. This extension provides additional room for learning spaces and the stacking/storage of books. The refurbishments make a significant difference to the functioning of the campus and provide much needed additional facilities for students.
Project Update Construction is complete and the building is occupied (see image below). Outstanding works and rectification of defects are in progress.
