Citations and awards to recognise excellence in teaching

As an ACU staff member you are encouraged to consider applying for any of the following citations or awards as appropriate to your level of achievement.

Please note: the list above is presented in the most likely order you would apply.

  • A Faculty citation or award can help you make your case for an ACU citation.
  • An ACU citation is commonly regarded as a key inclusion among evidence to support an application for an Australian Award for University Teaching.
  • The Vice Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Teaching are listed next because eligibility is restricted to those who have at least a 5-year history of teaching excellence at ACU.

The ACU Learning and Teaching Centre provides support with the application process for anyone aspiring to win a teaching citation or award. LTC recognises that this is a long-term developmental commitment. Use these web pages to guide your journey.
