The 2015 ACU Prize for Poetry aims to support writers and to continue the tradition of the Catholic Church as a key patron of the arts.
Following the success of the inaugural ACU Prize for Literature in 2013, this year's ACU Prize for Poetry will be awarded for outstanding poetry with the theme, Peace, Tolerance and Understanding.
The Prize opens Monday 16 March 2015 and closes Tuesday 16 June 2015.
The winners will be announced on Wednesday 26 August in Melbourne, in conjunction with the Melbourne Writers Festival.

Judge: Professor Kevin Hart
Professor Hart is the author of books in philosophy, theology, literary criticism and several acclaimed collections of poetry. He holds the Edwin B. Kyle Chair of Christian Studies in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Virginia and the Eric D'Arcy Chair of Philosophy at ACU where he is also Director of the Centre for Philosophy and Phenomenology of Religion. As poet of international reputation, his latest collection is entitled Morning Knowledge.
