ACU now moves into the second phase where all ACU campuses commence transitioning to become smoke-free from 1st January 2015.
You may recall earlier this year, announcements from the Vice-Chancellor and the Chief Operating Officer regarding the transition of ACU towards becoming a Tobacco-Free University in 2015. The transition process commenced at the Victorian campuses in second semester resulting in both the St Patrick's Campus in Melbourne and the Aquinas Campus in Ballarat now being smoke-free. This initiative, in collaboration with all Victorian universities, was recently acknowledged as an outstanding health and well-being project and was awarded the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation Award for tobacco-free initiatives.
ACU now moves into the second phase where all other ACU campuses commence transitioning to become smoke-free from 1st January 2015. ACU joins many other Australian universities in making a commitment to providing a smoke-free work and study environment.
WHAT DOES A SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT MEAN AT ACU?
