The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Engagement) is launching a clothing drive in support of the Dress for Success and Wear for Success programs. The mission of these programs is to empower disadvantaged men and women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help thrive in work and in life.
We invite all staff to participate by donating:
Well maintained clean clothing without rips, tears or fading (if you would wear it to an interview, we’ll take it!).
Smart casual clothing suitable for work – suits, shirts, dresses, pants and skirts.
Good condition handbags, shoes, belts and accessories.
New, unopened toiletries and makeup.
Larger sizes are always a problem so plus sized clothing is desirable.
Collections will be made during the week commencing 17 July and collection points will be available on all campuses. Details will be published soon.
