The 16th annual Simone Weil Lecture in Human Value will be delivered this year in both Melbourne (23 June)and Brisbane (25 June) by Professor Michael Morgan.
Prof Morgan is Chancellor’s Professor Emeritus of Philosophy and Jewish Studies at Indiana University, and Honorary Professor within the School of Philosophy, ACU.
He will speak on the topic: "Tears the Civil Servant Cannot See: Ethics, Politics, and the Individual"
The Melbourne lecture will be held on Tuesday 23 June, commencing at 6pm in the Mercy Lecture Theatre (115 Victoria Parade, Fitzroy).
The Brisbane lecture will be held on Thursday 25 June, commencing at 6pm at the ACU Leadership Centre (Level 3, 229 Elizabeth St, Brisbane). Light refreshments will be available from 5.30pm.
