Listed below are a number of professional development programs and networking events available across the tertiary education sector. Staff are encouraged to review learning opportunities and to liaise with their supervisor if they are interested in participating. You can register through the links provided.

Master of Business Administration (Executive)

Association for Tertiary Education Management (ATEM)
The Writing Persuasive Documents short course develops your talent for producing compelling and influential copy. Exploring a range of techniques and styles, you'll gain the skills you need to express ideas in ways that engage audiences and inspire action.

This program is designed for people who want to understand the role that emotions play in their ability to perform, enjoy and be successful at work and who want to empower themselves by strengthening their emotional style and perception. It is an opportunity to validate the intuitive or emotional side of personality and the power it has to enhance all aspects of performance and interactions.
This workshop is designed for the busy support professional and will improve your financial knowledge as well as your technical Excel skills. You will gain an overview of fundamental accounting and financial concepts, and learn how to present the data available to you into a concise report.
Organisational Development Symposium
Adelaide: 14 September 2015 9:30am to 5:00pm
This challenging one-day program has been developed following the success of the 'The Hows and Whys of Process Mapping' workshop. This program was inspired in various process improvement methodologies initially designed for the manufacturing industry (BPR, BPI, Six sigma, Lean, Change management, etc) but practically applied to the government and education sector.
This 3 hour power session is a Hands On Instructor-led Virtual Classroom Experience that gives participants the opportunity to experience training without having to travel to the training room. Participants are able to chat and collaborate with the facilitator and each other - just like any other workshop

LH Martin Institute
This program provides an opportunity for those responsible for managing financial resources to enhance their understanding of financial systems, tools and processes, and optimise their use in improved management and strategic planning.
