Do you have a passion for sport? Do you have a coaching qualification in your chosen sport or have you had previous experience coaching or managing a team before? The role as a coach at the Unigames might be something that interests you!
We are looking for staff to join alongside the Health, Sport and Wellbeing team to coach and support ACU student teams across 3 major Australian University Sporting events from the 5-9 July 2015. Below is a list of all sports per region that we are looking for coaching/management staff;
Northern Unigames (Toowoomba):
Eastern Unigames (Wagga Wagga):
Southern Unigames (Adelaide):
Not only will this role support the strategy of the Health, sport and wellbeing team in building a positive achievement based focus for students at the Unigames events, but it will also open up the opportunity for more student facing engagement for staff. A well-structured and managed University sporting team can bring many benefits to ACU, including increased student participation and performance that will positively impact on the University’s profile and reputation.
If selected as a coach, your working arrangements will be governed by the Paid Inside Work Policy, available through the HR website, and require approval from the responsible senior staff member within your organisational or functional unit.
