Join in with some of Australia's local bishops as they start new conversations on life, faith and culture across our campuses. Live music and Q&A with refreshments available.
The Human Virtues Series is an opportunity to engage the heroic imagination and ask ourselves what can we do if we wish to be men and women of integrity who make a difference in our world.
Beginning with live music, this is an invitation to listen to and ask questions of our bishops, the primary teachers within the Church.
At each event, a Bishop will offer their insights into one of the cardinal virtues and will then engage in a Q&A. The four cardinal virtues necessary for living a good life were first outlined by Plato in “The Republic” and then explored in the context of Christianity by Saints Ambrose, Augustine and Thomas Aquinas.
This series invites us to ask how these virtues relate to us in the modern world.
