Walk in my Shoez is a panel style TV series designed, produced, and written by ACU media communication students. It premiered on C 31 last year with host Father Bob Maguire and is returning for a second series this week.
It investigates issues facing disadvantaged youth and showcases organisations and individuals that are working to address these issues.
This series has three episodes. Each episode features three guests who talk to this series host comedian Rose Callaghan , in the studio and on location. The show also features local music talent..
Approximately 30 second and third year media communications students produced the series in conjunction with Channel 31. The students have benefitted from working in a professional media environment, producing broadcast quality materials.
Walk in my Shoez is an annual series and is funded by a grant from the Community Television Foundation.
The first episode of Walk in my Shoez will air at 9pm Wednesday 3 June on Channel 31 Melbourne and repeated on Tuesdays 3pm, starting 9 June.
