Managers and supervisors are encouraged to attend a lunchtime video conference to gain practical tips on managing the leave arrangements of their staff.

The workshop will cover the following topics:

• The University’s Annual Leave and Long Service Leave Management Strategy, including the reporting, tools and  templates to assist managers and supervisors;
• The  underpinnings of common leave types informed by the National Employment Standards of the Fair Work Act and the Enterprise Agreement;
• The obligations of Managers in monitoring and approving leave; and
• The normal application of the common leave types accessed by staff.
