ACU moves up in global rankings to 501–600 position and is now ranked in the top 3% of the world’s top universities.
ACU has moved up the rankings to 501–600 position out of 1,102 participating institutions in Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2017/18.
This is an improvement from last year’s 601–800 ranking result, and puts ACU firmly in the top 3% of all universities worldwide. The University’s strong citations performance contributed most significantly to the rankings improvement.
The University is one of the most significant Catholic universities in the world, being ranked in the top 10 among Catholic universities globally. Within Australia, ACU ranked joint 30 out of 35 participating institutions.
ACU is increasingly recognised for quality in learning, teaching and graduate outcomes, and as a leader in its research specialisations. Along with the world class Times Higher Education World University Rankings results, ACU is also ranked in QS World University Rankings and is globally ranked in both the Times Higher Education Young University Rankings and QS Young University Rankings. Within Asia Pacific, the University is a top 150 university in Times Higher Education Asia Pacific Rankings.
Excellence on a world stage is recognised for a number of subjects, with the University achieving global rankings in sport science, nursing, education, public health and theology, divinity and religious studies.
