ACU College has partnered with Cabrini to offer students the opportunity to complete a Diploma of Nursing in 18 months.
The Diploma of Nursing offers education and training at our St Patrick’s Campus in Melbourne and practical clinical placement at Cabrini.
Cabrini is a health service owned and operated by the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Students’ clinical placements will take place at Cabrini campuses located in Ashwood, Brighton, Elsternwick and Malvern.
The new program has been named the ACCENT Program – ACU College and Cabrini Educating Nurses Together.
The course will offer Diploma of Nursing students:
quality training with nursing staff – focused on person-centred care and holistic nursing practice
theoretical training and simulation activities with state-of-the-art facilities
400 hours of practical clinical placement at Cabrini
a guaranteed interview for Cabrini’s graduate program upon completion of the course
access to Cabrini’s professional development seminars and workshops.
Upon completion of the Diploma of Nursing, students will be eligible for registration as enrolled nurses with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
ACU College and Cabrini will launch their first intake for the ACCENT Program later this year.
