We have moved to a new Adobe software licensing enterprise system. You can now use Adobe Creative Cloud software on your work and personal devices. Under the new Adobe software licensing enterprise system a ‘Named User license’ is assigned to individual staff and you will now get your own Adobe account. Previously licensing was ‘device based’ and assigned to computers.
Staff who use Adobe Creative Cloud now have the added benefit of using the software on their personal devices.
Adobe Creative Cloud provides access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography, along with a set of mobile applications, and some optional cloud services.
To use Adobe Creative Cloud software for work, please follow these instructions:
Visit the IT Service Portal, select ‘Request Something’ > ‘Software Request’ > ‘Office/Business Apps > ‘Adobe Creative Cloud Application’ (Windows and MAC) and complete the online form.
You will receive an email notification from Adobe when you have been registered and will receive an ‘Adobe Named ID’.
ACU Service Desk will send you an email notification to guide you on how to login and download Adobe products.
Home computer and personal device
Once you have an ‘Adobe Named ID’ go to the Adobe site and download the ‘Adobe Creative Cloud’ application onto a home computer or personal device.
