Stage one of Service Central was launched in November 2018 to enhance the staff experience and improve the way you access and receive the services provided by Corporate Services. Service Central will be progressively rolled-out to include other Directorate’s services by May 2019 – see timeline.
How to find service information
A great place to start when seeking information about a service is to log-in to the Service Central portal and type your question into the search bar. This search will return a list of any relevant ‘knowledge articles’ related to the keywords in your question. There are over 300 knowledge articles within Service Central that answer your most frequent questions and more will be coming for other services in the next month.
Another way to find information is to click the Directorate buttons at the top or bottom of portal, which will display a selection of relevant services. For any questions that don’t seem to be answered when you search, you are able to suggest new topics to be covered via the ‘Feedback’ button at the bottom of the portal.
How to make a request through Service Central
You can make a request or query regarding Properties & Facilities or HR services by clicking ‘Request Something’ in the portal and finding the relevant request form. You can also request help by calling Service Central on (07) 3623 7272, between 7.30am and 6.30pm weekdays (national public holidays excluded).
How to see what’s happening with your request
Once you have made a request via Service Central, you will be able to track its progress via the portal at any time and from anywhere! Simply click on ‘My Requests’ to see a list of all of your current requests.
