ACU’s new public website is set to launch in November.
To prepare for the launch of the new website an editor freeze will be in place from 10 September. Content editors will be unable to make any changes to content on the public website from 10 September.
During the editor freeze any content edits must be submitted to the digital requests team by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org.
From 1 October there will be a complete content freeze of the public website, which means we wish to avoid making any changes to content.
The editor freeze and the content freeze are required to stabilise both the old and new public websites prior to go live. This will ensure latest content updates are migrated across from the existing website to the new website and will reduce double handling of webpage updates.
During the content freeze please send content updates to email@example.com and these will be documented in a change log for action after the new website is launched.
If your content change is critical please contact firstname.lastname@example.org who will be able to assist. We are working to keep these changes to a minimum, as this will require a duplication of effort on both the old and new website.
The content freeze will be in place until 10 days after the new public website is launched. Currently, the content freeze is estimated to end between 11 November and 21 November.
Which ACU websites will be affected?
The freeze will affect all pages on the public website (www.acu.edu.au), the ACU research website (www.research.acu.edu.au) and research institute websites (www.mmihr.acu.edu.au, www.ippe.acu.edu.au, www.lsia.acu.edu.au, www.irci.acu.edu.au, www.isj.acu.edu.au, www.irps.acu.edu.au).
