Everyone learns differently, and deserves the support they need to do their best.
Introducing the improved Read&Write
The Library has recently updated its subscription to Read&Write.
Read&Write is an easy to use toolbar designed to support reading, writing, studying and revision. It’s full of features to simplify work and study:
Read aloud: Listen to lecture notes, journal articles and webpages.
Highlight: Emphasize important points and collate information from all over the web into a single document.
Listen: Turn any document into an audio file to listen on the go.
Understand: Get definitions of key terms and phrases with the dictionary tool.
A tool for every learner
Everyone can benefit from Read&Write, no matter their learning needs. It can be used to support students with English as a second language, or those wishing to have the text read to them in order to avoid visual fatigue or to make their commute more productive.
Read&Write offers additional study support to people who experience dyslexia and visual impairments, or prefer to hear information read aloud.
