Great leaders motivate, encourage and inspire.
Effective communication is fundamental to leadership and is an essential tool to maintain strong, lasting working relationships with colleagues at all levels of the University.
Negotiate with confidence and influence others to achieve excellence!
Negotiation and influencing are key techniques which can be overlooked by staff. This program offers participants tools and guidance to master these two skills and put them into practice.
The Accidental Counsellor & Domestic Violence Awareness workshop is focussed on equipping staff who are not trained counsellors but who may find themselves in a “counselling role by accident”. The workshop provides basic counselling skills and principles to participants.
Domestic & Family Violence Awareness helps us to identify where a colleague may be impacted by domestic and family violence and know how to respond appropriately.
Every individual needs to be able to stand up and deliver a clear and engaging message. Skilled presenters get their message across in less time and more powerfully because they can focus on the message and use effective techniques to communicate.
Being an effective manager doesn’t just happen.
Develop your skills as a manager or supervisor through the Management Essentials program.
This program introduces the conversations and skills first-time managers, and all managers, need to achieve success quickly and build positive relationships with their teams.
