Australian Catholic University (ACU) offers assistance in the conduct of written examinations on behalf of other Universities and Institutions (exams can be held at Ballarat, Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra, North Sydney and Strathfield campuses).
All communication with the student will be between the home institution and their student. ACU will provide the home institution all relevant information.
It is the responsibility of the home institution to ensure that students sitting examinations at ACU are advised of the exam details (date/time/location) and confirm their attendance with their institution prior to the scheduled date of the exam.
ACU will issue a Tax Invoice to the home institution. ACU will not collect individual payments from students.
The tax invoice must be paid within 30 days of the date of invoice
It is the responsibility of the home institution to ensure that all examination papers and relevant materials are sent to Australian Catholic University to allow timely facilitation of examinations. The exam materials must arrive at the delivery address at least 5 business days before the scheduled date of the exam.
Students must report to AskACU Centre (addresses will be given to the institution), at least 15 minutes before the start of their examination (i.e. 9.15am or 1.15pm).
In the event of cancellation within five business days, 50% of the total booking amount will be refunded if we are unable to accommodate a mutually agreeable alternative exam time.
In the event of cancellation within two business days, no refund will be applicable.
Special arrangements examinations: examinations longer than two hours in duration and those with special requirements (e.g. use of a computer, special software, extra time, own room) may incur additional costs and will be quoted on a case-by-case basis.
