About this workshop

How often do we take time to reflect on the effectiveness of our communication and what it means for us and those around us? How can we communicate effectively in this current environment?

This 90 minute virtual workshop will help you to learn the key elements of effective communication, the role of emotional intelligence in building understanding of another person, and ways to identify and overcome barriers to effective communication.

What will I learn?

You will learn:

  • Identify the key elements of effective communication
  • Differentiate verbal and nonverbal communication
  • Refresh active listening skills
  • Understand how emotional intelligence impacts communication
  • Barriers to effective communication including geographical spread – strategies to overcome these barriers.
