The European Union General Data Protection Regulation (the GDPR) is a uniform data protection and Privacy law that applies to ACU due to the Rome campus, ACUO and international students. ACU offering services (education, research) or monitoring the behaviour of individuals in the EU (teaching, supporting, marketing, researching) means we have to abide. Learn the basics - how does it differ from Australian law and how should we think about it? What are the must-knows?
