What is Canvas? Project Timeline Migration Resources Meet the project teamCanvas is a learning management system (LMS) used by educators and educational institutions to develop, organise, and distribute course materials to students. Canvas helps to facilitate communication and collaboration between teaching staff and students by allowing them to engage in educational content.
By Semester 2, 2024, the Canvas Implementation Project will replace LEO with Canvas as ACU's new LMS. This project aims to positively transform the educational experience for staff and students at ACU.
Canvas is currently being used successfully for ACU Online, and has been selected for it's reputation as a leading LMS in 12 different Australian universities.

Within the Centre for Education & Innovation (CEI), the Canvas Implementation project team is comprised of four different streams: Learning and Teaching; Data and Content Migration; Change and Transition; and Technology.
