The Centre for Education and Innovation (CEI) works in partnership with directorates, schools, and faculties to enrich education innovation at ACU and enable a high-quality student learning experience
Australian Catholic University’s (ACU) Mission and values are at the heart of our approach to learning and teaching. ACU’s education strategy conceptualises learning as a journey and places the student experience at the centre of education. Working in partnership with ACU’s directorates, schools and faculties, CEI supports ACU’s mission to develop educated, skilled and ethical graduates. CEI provides a centralised support service for all learning and teaching processes and resources. The education and innovation website provides just in time resources to support Teaching in the ACU Context, Educational Technologies, Curriculum Design and Quality Assurance, and Scholarly Development and Recognition.
CEI enhances the student learning experience through services and resources designed to facilitate student-centred, evidence-based learning and teaching practices. CEI supports academic and professional staff through the following service offerings.
