Inspiring journeys through STEM: A talk series

Register to attend the first online talk in a series hosted by the Neuroscience of Addiction and Mental Health Program, Healthy Brain and Mind Research Centre (HBMRC).

Be inspired through a series of talks from senior and accomplished research professionals at ACU, sharing insights derived from their personal journeys with an opportunity for you to ask questions and engage directly.

Career building: tips from the edge

Join the first talk in the series as Executive Dean Health Sciences Professor Suzanne Chambers AO shares guidance about how building a successful research career abounds from research funders, scholarly institutions, and industry bodies.

Importantly, a research career is only one facet of a person’s life, and the integration of one’s research identity with purpose and personal guiding values is the main game.

Join us for a conversation about pursuing knowledge on the two wings of faith and reason, and to discuss where in the end we wish to land when it comes to a successful research career. You will also learn some helpful research tips, guided by popular culture.
