ABC Top 5 Media Residency Program
The ABC TOP 5 program is tailored for early-career researchers. Program graduates are equipped with career-long skills, knowledge and confidence to communicate with media and their audiences about their field of expertise.
2024 Al & Val Rosenstrauss Fellowship
The Rebecca L Cooper Medical Research Foundation has announced the call for Al & Val Rosenstrauss Fellowship. Targeted at researchers who are 5-10 years post-doctoral, the fellowship provides a salary component of $120,000 per year and a research support package of $80,000 per year for a five-year term. Please note that applications are due to Research Office by 15 April.
Translate to Innovate Series
The Translate to Innovate Series is a year-long skill development program available to all ACU staff, including higher degree by research (HDR) students and early career researchers (ECR).
The 20-webinar series consists of one-hour live workshops that are customised to help university participants improve industry engagement and commercialisation. The aim is to prepare staff to access, and then capitalise on, additional sources of revenue for ACU. The cost of the Translate to Innovate Series is fully subsidised by ACU Co-Lab.
Engaged research series
Attend upcoming webinars offered by the International Association for Research on Service Learning and Community Engagement (IARSCLE) on topics including youth participatory action research, quantitative analysis of big data, and trends and gaps in community-engaged PhD research.
The Talloires Network of Engaged Universities is also hosting a series of online workshops with researchers from across the globe.

The Australia–Germany Joint Research Cooperation Scheme is an initiative of Universities Australia and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) that supports exchanges for researchers from member universities to spend time at partner institutions in Germany, and for collaborating German researchers to spend time at Australian universities.
