Tailor your academic skills resources

Support your students' academic journey with customised resources and workshops developed by the Academic Skills Unit. Staff can now request bespoke online resources and workshops via Service Central.

The Academic Skills Unit (ASU) can assist staff in supporting students learning by creating bespoke online resources and targeted workshops.

Resources and workshops can be designed to cover a wide range of maths, academic language and learning skills including:

  • Approaching different assessment types
  • Statistics for research
  • Reflective writing
  • Maths for specific assessment requirements
  • Group work and group assessment
  • Interpreting marking rubrics
  • Discussion forum posts
  • ePoster assessment
  • Oral presentations
  • Writing a literature review.

To request resources or workshops on the above topics and more, please submit a request via Service Central. Staff who would like to discuss what support options are available can email academicskills@acu.edu.au.
