Teaching Development Grant virtual Q&A session

The Centre for Education & Innovation is hosting virtual Q&A sessions with Assessment Panel Chair, Associate Professor Alison Owens to assist you in the preparation of your application.

ACU Teaching Development Grants (TDGs) provide teaching staff or teaching teams (including professional staff) with opportunities to create teaching development projects aligned with institutional and faculty priorities. These grants help enhance student learning, foster innovation, grow resources, promote good practice frameworks and contribute to the scholarship of learning and teaching.

If you are considering applying for a TDG in 2024 this is a great opportunity to jump start your application. The session hosted by Associate Professor Alison Owens will be on Friday, 19 April at 3pm–4pm.

Registration is mandatory via the registration form.

By gaining an understanding of the application requirements and presenting a well-supported proposal with evidence, you will be able to build the foundation of your application appropriately for a successful nomination.

These will provide guidance on:

  • application processes and timelines
  • where to locate information and applications forms
  • hints and tips
  • answers to your questions.
Teaching Development Grant applications will be open from 29 April to 19 August.

If you cannot attend the session but have some questions after reading the 2024 TDG guidelines, please contact CEI@acu.edu.au.
