Staff can connect to the ACU Network whilst off-campus by using a Virtual Private Network (VPN).
VPN is software that allows you to connect to our computers securely back to the ACU Network and gives you access to all the systems you use.
ACU’s current VP5 is at the end of life. IT is upgrading the existing VPN service (VP5) to a more secure, safer and easier method to connect to the ACU network.
Staff are required to update their current VPN (VP5) connection and install the new VPN software (GlobalProtect) by 20 July 2018.
Please follow installation instructions and select an installation package.
Our existing VP5 service will be discontinued by end of July 2018.
If you are an external vendor you will need to first log a request with Service Desk for VPN access by calling +617 3623 7272.
