Facilities Assistant distributes all the incoming and outgoing mail for staff and accommodations on campus.
A Facilities Assistant is responsible for collecting and sorting the mail for delivery to each department. Each campus has one mail delivery run a day.
Facilities Assistant will collect mail from Library and ASKACU at 2pm Monday to Friday. All other mail is dropped off at Blackfriars reception before mail pick at 3pm.
Facilities Assistant ensures delivery is for a person located at campus, receives the parcel, and notifies the staff member via service central. Any parcels under 15kg are to be collected by the receiver, who will be notified via Service Central. Any parcel (or combination of parcels) over 15kg will be delivered by a Facilities Assistant.
The Facilities Hub is in the main entry lobby of the Blackfriars Building and is attended by either Facilities Administration or Security between 9am – 5pm.
