How do I join a Zoom session?

Log into LEO and locate your LEO unit

  1. Locate the relevant Zoom meeting link in your LEO unit. These will be displayed in different locations depending on your faculty ie 'online classrooms' or 'online tutorials'. They should include your tutors name, tutorial times with a link or a zoom id number ie acu.zoom.us/j/12345678.
  2. Open meeting link
  3. The first time you access a Zoom meeting you will be prompted to download and install Zoom.
  4. When your tutor opens the room you will join automatically (if your tutor hasn't arrived you may be put in a waiting room).
  5. Enter your name and click join.
  6. An audio options dialogue box will display. It is a good idea to Test your Speaker and Microphone before joining.

Note: Zoom automatically identifies the speaker you are using ie in-built speakers, headphone or attached speaker.
