  • Contribute to institutional responses to Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency and Australian Qualifications Framework etc.
  • Contribute to the development of new ACU policies related to learning and teaching and the ACU Strategic Plan.
  • Contribute to ACU and faculty Learning and Teaching committees.
  • Represent ACU with external organisations.
  • Conduct higher education teacher orientation.
  • Deliver Graduate Certificate in Higher Education (GCHE) (including UNHE500 Foundations of University Teaching).
  • Manage SELT service.
  • Deliver Higher Education Teacher Competency Framework.
  • Provide Academic Developer support for curriculum development at unit and course levels.
  • Provide leadership and direction in TEL.
  • Develop staff capabilities in TEL through professional development programs.
  • Provide TEL models of good practice in unit design and delivery.
  • Conduct continuous improvement activities.
  • Manage Learning Management System vendor relationship.
  • Provide administrative support for e-learning environment.
  • Provide Academic Developer support for new and renewed curriculum design.
  • Maintain currency with Higher Education sector policy including Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency, Office for Learning and Teaching, Australian Qualifications Framework.
  • Provide Academic Developer advice and support for new and renewed curriculum design.
  • Report to SEG on SELT results and provide SELT data for Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency and internal data validation purposes.
  • Support the development of Scholarship of Teaching projects in the Graduate Certificate in Higher Education (GCHE).
  • Provide support and feedback to academic staff on teaching award and grant applications.
  • Contribute to Faculty Teaching Award and Grant processes and manage ACU Teaching Awards and Teaching Grants.
  • Manage Office for Learning and Teaching grant applications and processes.
