  • Lead major University marketing and communications strategies and plans Assist/advise other units and faculties in the development of marketing and communications strategies and plans
  • Develop/review marketing and communications policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Provide branding, marketing and communications advice to staff
  • Manage, steward and oversee the University's brand strategy, brand architecture and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Manage ACU’s interactions with the media (online and offline), develop and implement media plans, develop and distribute media releases, supervise media opportunities at our campuses and facilities, advise the VC and SEG on media enquiries, develop/review media policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Produce content that is on-brand, appealing and relevant to our target markets. Produce key documents (i.e., course guides) and create content for advertising and campaigns.
  • Support the University’s organisational strategy and day-to-day operations by equipping staff with the right information and tools needed to deliver effective communications across operational and portfolio areas
  • Develop content strategy/plans for all major campaigns
  • Develop content for campaign and conversion including advertising, EDMs, SMS, radio/video scripts
  • Produce major University publications, including course guides and credentials
  • Manage and produce Impact, ACU’s content hub. Proof and edit content from across the University to ensure adherence to brand and verbal identity.
  • Develop all course guides (undergraduate and postgraduate) and support faculties in development of other course promotional materials
  • Lead the University's postgraduate, undergraduate and non-school leaver marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate and attend career expos and school visits, and conduct campus tours
  • Organise open days, liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage careers advisors’ program.
  • Organise and run on-campus information sessions and online webinars for prospective students Manage and implement the University's conversion strategy for all cohorts of students in line with the Enrolment Plan.
  • Review marketing campaign effectiveness weekly (during campaign periods) and post-campaign, capture and assess stakeholder feedback
  • Conduct surveys and gather insights to support decision making within MER and the wider University as required.
  • Develop University event protocols, and develop and update the University’s events guide
  • Manage VC and key stakeholder events and coordinate/advise on the timing of major University events
  • Assist with graduations.
  • Conduct and distribute market research and market intelligence according to an agreed insights plan and timetable, gather and collate statistical information from existing sources and provide reporting services
  • Provide market insights to support the Enrolment Planning process, including advice on competitor offerings, market conditions, growth opportunities and advice on target enrolments based on the market at the time
  • Conduct market analysis to inform new and revised course offerings.
  • Plan, create and maintain all University websites, including content and video creation, design and development, updates and corrections, and the University's search engine in accordance with overarching web and digital strategy.
  • Provide advice and support for social media activity and web and digital policy development and administration.

  • Lead creative development for University marketing campaigns and collateral
  • Conduct photo and video shoots, provide post-production services and approve photos and videos for use.
  • Manage University digital projects to improve the online experience for staff and students, including improving internal processes
  • Gather UX evidence on behalf of University internal clients and make recommendations for improvement of the experience for users
  • Design and implement digital solutions where required as part of overall UX improvement
  • Provide a UX framework for the University to use to make UX improvements.
  • Ensure that customer data is leveraged to improve how external audiences relate to ACU and deliver more meaningful, relevant and personalised customer relationship communications.
