4.5.1 A staff member will normally achieve progression to the next point on an incremental scale of the salaries detailed in Schedule 1, following each twelve (12) months of paid service. The staff member must be able to demonstrate that they have
met the necessary performance outcomes and expected levels of achievement for incremental progression, as assessed by the staff member’s supervisor following a performance review carried out in accordance with the University’s
procedures. An increment shall not be withheld other than in accordance with the University’s policy and procedures for Incremental Progression.
