What is Canvas?

Canvas is a LMS used by educators and educational institutions to develop, organise, and distribute course materials, assignments, quizzes, and various other resources to students. Canvas facilitates communication and collaboration between teachers and students, allowing them to interact and engage with educational content.

Project Timeline

The project has target release dates as follows:

 

Project Objectives

  • Design and configure how Canvas will be used at ACU.
  • Migrate all content from active units in LEO to Canvas.
  • Prepare Canvas to be used as production system within ACU and connect it with other ACU applications, including those embedded in LEO.
  • Provide staff and students with support tools and resources to enable them to confidently navigate and use the new LMS. 

Postgraduate NLIC/LIC Training

Please note, these training options are currently reserved for NLICs/LICs directly involved in the postgraduate Unit Master List.
Training for all other staff will be made available in June 2023.
