MyProgress is a workplace-based digital portfolio system that enables students to complete assessment tasks while on placement.

MyProgress is a learning technology designed to supports assessment, timesheets, and feedback in practice-based learning environments. The MyProgress App allows students to easily record reflections and feedback offline while on placement. Please note: the app is available to students only.

There are three main roles in MyProgress.

  • ACU Academic Staff (Tutor Role)
  • Facilitators/Placement Supervisors (Practice Staff Role)

As a tutor in MyProgress, you are responsible for verifying the completeness of student placement documentation. This includes reviewing student submissions, providing feedback, and grading the overall placement outcome.

As a Practice Staff user in MyProgress, you are responsible for supervising ACU students during their practice placements, submitting assessment forms, and managing placement timesheets.

Tutor

Draft Visibility

Tutors can now identify when any user has a draft against a form.  

To see the draft details, simply click the ‘View drafts’ button next to the relevant form. 

All users

The ‘Save and close’ button has been updated to read ‘Save and close draft’ to make it clearer that the form is not submitted if this button is used. 

Student

Mobile App

Enhancements have been implemented to optimise sign-in and form submission.

Timesheets

The system now prevents students from submitting a duplicate timesheet when the placement location, activity type and shift date are identical to another timesheet already submitted.  

A warning message will display if a timesheet has already been submitted for the selected date.

Reporting

Students can now export their own timesheet reports. Detailed instructions on how to do this are available in How do I save a copy of my work or timesheets in MyProgress?

Paramedicine Tutor

Timesheet Verification

Bulk timesheet verification is now available for Paramedicine Tutors to easily verify BNBP student timesheets linked to Paramedicine units. Expand the navigation menu, click Timesheets, then select Unverified Timesheets. Use the checkboxes on the right-hand side to select one or multiple timesheets, then click Bulk Actions and Verify Timesheets. Be mindful that Nursing and Paramedicine timesheets will be shown, so ensure to check the placement facility prior to verifying.

Reporting

The Completions Report by Program now includes a column for every form within an ePad. Previously, forms with no responses were omitted from the report.

Practice Staff

Dashboard

A new dropdown menu will be available at the top of the dashboard. This allows you to easily switch between cohorts or search by typing the cohort’s name and selecting from the list provided.

Cohort Search

You can now easily search for a cohort by typing in the dropdown box on the Dashboard page. Begin typing the name of the cohort and select from the list displayed.

Archived Cohorts

By default, only active cohorts are shown in the dropdown box. A new checkbox now lets you include past and future cohorts in your search.
