The Planning business unit plays a very important role in the development of programs, tools and techniques to provide solutions for the planning needs of the University. The team is responsible for the management and maintenance of the space systems across all six campuses, oversight of the development of design standards and policies and other key planning accountabilities, including long term strategic space needs forecasting, and communications programs.

We focus on the following areas:

  • Campus Strategic Development Framework
  • Workspace and Teaching Space Policies and Guidelines
  • Teaching Space Usage Analysis

Development and Capital Projects

The Development and Capital Projects (DCP) team provides project management services where capital funding is sought to scope, define, justify, develop and deliver ‘renewal’ or ‘new build’ solutions across all ACU campuses.

Each state-based DCP team is headed by a State Development Manager and supported by a team of project professionals, all of whom can assist you to translate a business need for space into solutions that are justified and funded.
