ACU has a strong record on water conservation but it still consumes about about 2400 litres of water for every full-time equivalent student and member of staff.

Saving water reduces stress on the plants and animals that depend on healthy rivers and makes our cities more resilient at times of drought. You can help ACU conserve water on campus by taking these actions:

• Use the half-flush button on the toilet when only a half-flush is necessary
• Turn off taps fully and watch for drips
• Turn on your office kitchen’s dishwasher only when it’s full.
• Report leaking taps and toilets to your local Facilities team by submitting a request via Service Central staff.acu.edu.au/servicecentral
