About the Session

Delegation is a core skill for any leader. Yet many of us struggle to delegate effectively, holding ourselves and others back in the process. Often, it's our mindset around delegation that gets in the way. Perhaps we don't want to bother others, or it's just quicker to do things ourselves.

However, delegation is crucial for development and engagement.

In this 90 minute masterclass we explore what gets in the way of delegating, why delegating is so important, common delegation pitfalls, stages of development and delegation, initial considerations before you delegate in your current role, and eight steps to effective delegation.

You will leave the masterclass with confidence to give delegation a go and understand new opportunities to delegate that may have been overlooked.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Recognise common mindset barriers and pitfalls that hinder effective delegation.
  • Understand the link between delegation, team development, and engagement
  • Learn a structured, eight-step process for effective delegation.
  • Identify new opportunities to delegate in your current role and gain confidence to apply them.
