Background

Monitoring and analysing student performance data is an essential component of ACU's self-accreditation and self-assurance processes and is a requirement of the Higher Education Standards Framework.

CEI have created two reporting dashboards;

Course Monitoring Dashboard

The Schedule A ACU Internal Benchmarks dashboard has been developed to provide ACU's Course Monitoring Committees with course and unit level data associated with each of the ACU Internal Benchmarks aligned to the Course and Student Monitoring Policy and Procedure.

  • The dashboard is updated with new data four times a year.
  • Data definitions and instructions for filtering can be found in the dashboard itself.
  • All ACU staff should automatically be able to access the dashboard.

Faculty Composite Reports

Faculty Composite Reports are available to Executive Deans and Associate Deans of Learning and Teaching (or equivalent). These reports contain student feedback data at the faculty, school, course, unit, teacher and campus levels. These reports are designed to:

  • evaluate course and unit performance over the 6-year review cycle;
  • develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality and resourcing of unit delivery; and
  • preparing reports for course reviews.

How to Use CEI Dashboards

The below PDF and instruction videos demonstrate how to interact with the CEI dashboards, and extract and report the data. Access to the above dashboards will be granted in accordance with Section 7: Survey Results of the Evaluation of Learning and Teaching Procedures.

Educational Analytics in ACU DataHub

CEI and the Data Excellence Team have recently published the 2025 Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) results, including the Student Experience Survey (SES), Employer Satisfaction Survey (ESS) and Graduate Outcomes Survey (GOS).

What you can do in DataHub

  • Go beyond university-level results by filtering the QILT data by faculty, school, discipline, course, and key demographic attributes
  • Access data to inform meaningful reflection and conversations about learning and teaching focus areas for improvement across the student lifecycle
