The purpose of this resource is to provide you with information about InPlace, the placement management system used across clinical, practical and community engagement units at ACU.
InPlace, ACU's placement management system, is used to administer the student placement process for clinical, practical and community engagement units.
Students use InPlace to view current, past, and future placements. They manage their pre-placement requirements, such as Working with Children Check (WWCC), Police check, and the required faculty compliance items, and their placement requirements including timesheets, placement reports and evaluations within the system.
Professional and Academic faculty staff use InPlace to assess student's compliance, plan and manage placement activities by sourcing and allocating student placements, and coordinate and notify students and agencies of placements.
System Administrators from the CEI InPlace team manage the application of the system, coordinate upgrades and system enhancements and assist with system support enquiries from across the University.
There are a range of student reference guides and online demonstrations located on the InPlace Teams site, in the Training Documentation collection.
Student guides and demonstrations are reviewed and updated following system upgrades and updates to Faculty Placement Services processes.
The student reference material can be shared with students by the faculty via Canvas, on the WIL website and via InPlace using the communication templates. Please ensure you are using the latest reference guide by reviewing the resources listed on the Teams site.
