This little session provides an overview of ACU’s revitalised Core Curriculum, covering its aims and rationale; what has changed from the old model of Core; the variety of units; and points of excitement and challenge are as we look to embed the vision for our students. |

Mission Week Mass Join us for the Holy Mass celebrated on Campus, as we pray for ACU and our mission in the world, followed by our main event with a guest speaker and free lunch provided by Student Life. Mission Week Festival Day The Festival Day is an opportunity to gather the whole community together to celebrate our mission. Music, give-aways, inspiring speakers, and free food are all on offer. Sunset Session (Students) – Living Mission – Relationships Come along for a reflective session which will encourage you to pause and reflect and focus on your mission and who you are called to be! Campus Ministry Random Acts of Kindness Day Writer and peace activist Anne Herbert coined the phrase “practice random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty” in 1982 when she wrote it on a restaurant serviette in San Francisco. Just over ten years later Professor Chuck Wall of Bakersfield College, California, challenged his students to perform a “random act of senseless kindness” after hearing a radio report describing “another random act of senseless violence.” Campus Ministry x Accommodation Residence Dinner Conversations and discussions around the dinner table of people who have lived Mary McKillop’s philosophy who saw a need and did something about it, followed by a fun music bingo to celebrate living our mission. |
