Staff members are provided with keys, fobs, swipe cards and security codes by Facilities Management to access their offices and lecture rooms. Access to restricted areas may require approval from a head of school/supervisor.
On some campuses Facilities Management provide an archiving service and will store University material for faculties, departments and individuals.
Facilities Management is responsible for cleaning services on all campuses. This includes scheduled cleaning at regular intervals through the day and on-demand services.
Facilities Management provide security recycling bins for the destruction of confidential material. These are located in a number of buildings across all campuses. Contact Reception through Service Central for specific locations.
Facilities Management process incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries on a daily basis. Outgoing courier services are organised on request and will be charged back to relevant cost centres.
Facilities Management provide standard furniture and fittings to all offices. Any additional requirements should be discussed with your head of school/supervisor.
There are kitchens and lounges provided for staff on all campuses. These are maintained by Facilities Management and are generally equipped with fridges, microwaves and tea/coffee making facilities.
Most campuses provide locker facilities for students and staff to use. Please see the individual campus service pages for details on locker hire.
Facilities Management collects and holds ACU lost property. Please contact Reception through Service Central if you have lost or found an item on campus.
Facilities Management manage all maintenance on the campuses, including on-going programmed maintenance and on-demand services. Please log your service request through Service Central.
Noticeboards are located in key buildings across all campuses and are available to students and staff. Facilities Management regularly monitor noticeboards and remove unauthorised notices.
The IT Directorate handles printing at ACU, however Facilities Management assist by providing staff with codes to use printers and photocopiers. Please contact Reception through Service Central if you require an access code.
All campuses have a Reception, which is open during business hours. Reception is there to help direct your queries and also offers a variety of services to students and staff.
Facilities Management provide recycling facilities on all campuses.
Facilities Management are responsible for the security of property and buildings at ACU. All campuses have Security Officers that make regular patrols of the campus and are available to assist students and staff with any security related issues.
