As ACU's HDR cohort continues to grow, the Graduate Research School has launched a series of Supervisor Good Practice Workshops to support high-quality, consistent, and effective research supervision across the University. The workshops provide opportunities for supervisors to share experiences, explore evidence-informed practices, and develop common approaches to supporting graduate researchers throughout their candidature.
The series commenced in 2026 and will continue into 2027. This page brings together workshop materials and resources for supervisors to access on demand.
This workshop explores the HDR Milestone Framework at ACU, the roles and responsibilities of supervisors and candidates, progress management outside of milestones (both formal and informal), support services and resources for candidates, and the importance of honest and timely feedback.
