An employee who, as at 31 December in any year, will have accrued four (4) weeks annual leave in that calendar year, will be entitled to annual leave loading equal to 17.5% of four (4) weeks’ pay at the employee’s Salary as at 30 November of each year. Payment of the annual leave loading will occur on a payday in December.
The maximum loading payable will be equal to the Australian Bureau of Statistics’ weekly earnings for all males (Australia) for the preceding May quarter.
An employee who:
commences employment after 1 January; or
terminates employment prior to 31 December in any year; or
has had periods of unpaid leave; or
has performed part-time work; will be entitled to a pro rata annual leave loading payment calculated on their annual leave accrual for the year.
