Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, the University may transfer an employee into another position at their current classification level, fraction and duration. The University will consult with the employee before deciding whether or not to proceed with a directed transfer.
Provided that the employee will not be required to relocate from one State/Territory to another as a result of the transfer.
Provided that an employee in Victoria will not be required to transfer from Melbourne to Ballarat (or vice versa) as a result of the transfer.
The University will approve a transfer in circumstances where an employee requests a transfer in writing to a position or role at the same grade/level and a suitable vacancy (or position) is available.
