About the Session
This session will teach users how to best use Copilot to generate, edit and polish content in Word and PowerPoint. You will discover how to use Copilot to generate content based on information from the web, referencing existing content in your tenant, edit existing documents, and insert new content into existing templates. Then you will see how Copilot can be used to make appealing, on-brand PowerPoint presentations for different situations and objectives.
Learn how to:
- 'Ideate' using Copilot in Microsoft Teams
- Generate a draft using Copilot in Microsoft Word
- Create a presentation with Copilot in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Use Copilot to change the tone of your writing & content
- Learn to reference other content using Copilot in Word, PowerPoint & Teams
- Summarise documents, emails, or conversations using Copilot
- 'Bring it all together' across multiple applications using the same content

Level 1: All Staff - Take personal responsibility and accountability for your work and for fulfilling commitments made to others. Deliver work on time and to the agreed standard.
These workshops are available to all staff. They are not mandatory for casual staff.
Casual staff must obtain prior approval from their supervisor or manager to attend the training. For casual Academic staff such approval is required from the National Head of School or nominated supervisor (consistent with point 23. of the Employment of Sessional Academic Staff Policy).
The Faculty or Unit is responsible for paying the casual staff member for the time while they attend any non-mandatory professional development.
