About the Session

Leadership Master Class 3 - Rewiring Feedback: Conversations that GROW people

Delivering feedback that builds capability requires more than good intent. Using neuroscience of threat and reward responses, this master class examines why feedback fails and you as a leader can activate growth rather than defensiveness, strengthening trust, performance and psychological safety.

Specifically, we'll cover:

  • Why feedback fails - how you can identify if it is a skill or thinking problem.
  • What happens when you deliver feedback - threat activation, defensiveness or acceptance?
  • Explore why traditional feedback models fail.
  • Practice tools you can use to create the right conditions for your feedback to be heard.

Delve into why many feedback failures are not skill issues and what you can do to increase trust and reduce anxiety. Deliver feedback that promotes insight and growth.
