Reimagining Human Connection in the Age of Digital Disruption

Wednesday 22 October | Live from Melbourne Campus

Join us as we explore the future of education and human connection at this exciting event. We’ll be discussing how digital disruption is reshaping the way we teach, learn, and connect.

Come along in person to the Melbourne Campus for the full experience, with live speakers, old-school networking, and shared refreshments. We’d love to see you there and for you to be a part of the conversation.

This special event features:

  • Welcome address from Professor Anthony Whitty, Director, Centre for Education and Innovation
  • Professor Tania Broadley, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education), unveiling the Education and Student Success Plan
  • Professor Phillip Dawson (Deakin University) delving into the world of GenAI and its impact on assessment.
  • A student panel and an external panel offering their insights and perspectives

Not based in Melbourne? This event will be broadcast live to meeting spaces across all campuses (except Blacktown), so you can still join the conversation, connect with colleagues, and enjoy refreshments.

We’d love to see you in-person but if you can’t make it, you can attend online. MS Teams links will be shared closer to the date.

Don't miss this opportunity to connect, learn, and explore the latest trends in teaching and learning.
